TGC-14 says 2022 power output rises by 7% to record 3 bln kWh
MOSCOW, Jan 19 (PRIME) -- The power production of Russia’s Territorial Generating Company-14 (TGC-14) increased by 7% to a record 3.001 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in 2022 thanks to a low water content in the basins and cascades of hydropower plants on the Siberian rivers and upgrades on the thermal power plants, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak earlier said that Russia’s 2022 power consumption rose by 1.5%, while production rose by 0.7%.
